The Climate Change Challenge
South Africa is at risk from climate change impacts, which threaten both the environment and society, including rising unemployment, food insecurity, health risks, and migration.
If current trends persist, global temperatures could rise by at least 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels between 2030 and 2052. With projected warming of up to 5 to 8°C over South Africa’s interior by the end of this century, climate change could jeopardise economic stability and socio-economic development3.

Campus Vert – Advancing ESG and Net-Zero Goals
At the core of Campus Vert’s pursuit of driving socio-economic goals is maximising environmental efficiency while minimising environmental impact through sustainability – environmental, social and governance (ESG) and a net-zero ecosystem – a vision that aims to redefine the way we think about workspaces.
Campus Vert is a new-generation corporate and integrated lifestyle development concept, aimed at zero-minded multinational organisations, aligned with the Paris Accord, and focused on advancing their ESG and net-zero goals to keep global temperature increases within 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.
